Project Overview
Wadi Al Sahil is a full-stack MERN application for the tourism industry — handling dynamic tour content, automated email communication, and real-time customer support. This was an end-to-end build: frontend, backend API, database, and third-party communication integrations, all delivered as one cohesive system.
The Challenge
Tourism runs on trust and speed: a traveler comparing operators will book with whoever responds first. The client needed booking confirmations to go out automatically instead of waiting on manual replies, and a way for visitors to ask questions instantly — right at the moment of decision — without leaving the booking journey.
Our Solution
I architected the platform as a full MERN stack: a React frontend backed by a Node.js/Express API with MongoDB for dynamic tour data. MailerSend integration delivers automated, professionally formatted booking confirmation emails the moment a request is made. For live pre-sales questions, I integrated Tawk.to live chat directly on the landing experience — enabling real-time query resolution and lead capture at the point of highest intent.
