Harvest & Fishery Management System
A production-grade aquaculture management platform I co-developed and co-own in partnership with an established aquaculture business — architected end to end as a three-tier system: an offline-first mobile app for field teams working at remote fish farms, a Laravel REST API that computes live culture-cycle analytics, and a real-time admin portal for farm-level monitoring. It digitizes an industry that still largely runs on paper registers — from pond stocking and daily water chemistry to feed economics and harvest traceability.
Offline-First Field App
React Native · TypeScript
Pond stocking with multi-species entry and auto-calculated biomass
Daily water quality tests — 15+ chemistry parameters with configurable alert thresholds
Feeding logs with real-time cost tracking
Partial & final harvests with per-species, size-wise breakdowns
Fully functional offline — background sync queue reconciles data when connectivity returns
Analytics Engine & API
Laravel 12 · MySQL · Reverb
Live per-cycle analytics: feed conversion ratio, mortality rate, biomass, culture period
Feed cost per kg harvested — computed continuously, not at cycle end
Real-time updates pushed to the dashboard over WebSockets (Laravel Reverb)
Role-based access control with Sanctum + Spatie permissions
Auto-generated culture-cycle IDs for complete harvest traceability
Admin Command Center
React 19 · Vite · Tailwind CSS
Farm-level command center for monitoring every pond and cycle in real time
Interactive analytics with TanStack Query + Recharts
Photo galleries, Excel & PDF exports for reporting
Dark mode with a token-driven design system
Built for daily operational use by farm managers — not just executives
Built as an Equal Partnership
The software is co-owned 50/50 with an established aquaculture business. They bring deep, hands-on expertise in fish farming operations, industry workflows, and business requirements — I own the product's entire technical side: software architecture, backend and frontend development, the mobile app, database design, offline-first sync, and deployment. It's the model I believe in — domain experts and engineers building together, each owning what they know best. Partner branding, product name, and live screenshots will be revealed at launch.
